Found out today that a woman I went to high school with has a rare and aggressive cancer. She was the beauty queen, cheerleader, looked exactly like a Barbie doll girl that I envied so desperately in school. She is still, according to pictures I’ve seen, just as lovely. With two lovely daughters…
Life is weird. and it’s short. And you should just be thankful for what you have. I spent years wishing for this girl’s life. Y E A R S….
I will pray for her and her family. I hope that she beats this. Even though I haven’t seen her in years, my heart breaks for her.
I hope she knows that God used her to make me realize how life is too short to just get by existing….I have to start living every second to the absolute fullest.
